Design
and planning is the key to any timber frame project. Your timber framer should be involved from conceptual to
final design stages. This allows
the timber framer to design a frame that best meets a clients personal needs,
while maximizing the use of space within the frame.
In the early part of the design stage, rough sketches are done to help
visualize how changes will effect the overall project.

Next,
computer aided design (CAD) drawings are created.
These will be used by our clients, contractors, architects, and
engineers. Detailed drawings of all joinery to be used is also done.
Once the final set of prints is done, a scale model of the timber frame is
produced.
